Graduation Show Master of Fine Art van het DutchArtInstitute 2013 @ Galata Fotoğrafhanesi Fotoğraf Akademisi in Istanbul, 12 – 15 september.
This exhibition brings together new works by sixteen artists from different parts of the world who have been working together at the Dutch Art Institute for two years – a time featuring intense bursts of communal living and discussion in the city of Arnhem followed by intermittent periods of separation. In Istanbul they meet for the last time, each bringing a work that will be presented on or around an architectural structure designed by Andreas Müller.

Maja Hodoscek – ‘If you remember I always talked about the future’
Film over een jonge man die worstelt om zijn held Tito, de voormalige leider van Joegoslavië, goed te vertolken.
Rei Kakiuchi – Popcorn painted bronze, (1.5% bigger than life size) – presenteert gesimuleerde popcorn.
Performance van Mercedes Azpilicueta, FLESH, 17:57 min., 2013. Ze combineert woorden uit de scheikunde les met persoonlijke indrukken en getuigenissen tijdens de Gezi park protesten van een turkse kunstenaar.
